Dizziness & Vertigo

Dizziness & Vertigo

We’ll start at the end and end at the start. Already got you spinnin’, eh?

Dizziness is, at best annoying, but usually is described as scary and unnerving. For most people, vertigo is terrifying. We’ve never known a client to enjoy vertigo, much less want to experience it again. The sensation is so unpleasant that most people will go out of their way to avoid dizziness and or vertigo.

There is a simple distinction between the two. Vertigo causes the world to spin uncontrollably around you, usually causing instant nausea and possibly vomiting. Vertigo does not stop when you close your eyes. Very frightening.*

Dizziness and vertigo relate to both active and healing phases in German New Medicine. It’s a simple task of breaking down the clinical presentation and history to figure it all out.

Let me make a statement and then I’ll explain.

When one conflict, in a hearing constellation resolves, dizziness and vertigo may occur at the EC. The EC is the peak of the healing phase that replicates the conflict active phase. So, if you reason that during conflict activity dizziness and vertigo may be experienced as well, you are correct.

If Vertigo is present and persists, the individual has experienced a conflict relapse and or a secondary conflict has activated as a result of the ongoing vertigo, that secondary conflict is a fear of falling affecting balance centers in the middle ear.

What then, is a hearing constellation?

In German New Medicine, the presentation of multiple biological conflict-shocks in opposing halves of the brain are referred to as a constellation. In other words, one active conflict on each hemisphere in direct opposition. Think a constellation of stars in the night sky.

We have some combinations.

Relative to relationships, we can have hearing constellations that reflect – I can’t believe I heard that, I cant believe he or she said that, I don’t want to hear that. This is considered a small constellation.

Relative to our external territory (males) and internal nest (females) we can have hearing constellations that reflect – listening for a threat (burglar, e.g), listening for a problem (a sick loved one, e.g.) This is considered a large constellation and when both left and right hearing centres are active with territorial or nest hearing conflicts – paranoia may present.

If one side of the constellation reflects a territorial or nest and the other side reflects a relationship – it is considered a small constellation as well.

The acoustic nerves are simultaneously affected in each case.

The hearing ‘morsels’ that we wish to hear, listening for – affect the right ear as the right side is receiving, whereas hearing ‘morsels’ that we wish not to hear affect the left ear as the left side is all about discarding the sound morsel.

Laterality, relationships and the ear side involved – all determine which hearing center will be affected.

During conflict activity – dizziness and vertigo may be experienced.

During a healing phase, at the epicrisis or EC – dizziness and vertigo may be experienced as well when one conflict, one side in the constellation resolves.

If Vertigo is present and persists, the individual has experienced a conflict relapse and or a secondary conflict has activated as a result of the ongoing vertigo, that secondary conflict being a fear of falling.
