Endometriosis and Fibroids.

Endometriosis and Fibroids

Often dismissed as women’s troubles, endometriosis affects one woman in ten of reproductive age.

Far too many women are turned away by their doctors and told they must put up with the pain or even that they are imagining it.

*In the US, Heather C. Guidone who works at the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta, Georgia and has herself been through twenty operations for severe endometriosis, said women are still told periods are supposed to hurt and that it’s a woman’s lot in life to suffer. All of those cliches that have surrounded menstruation since the dawn of time.

Endometriosis can be mild or so severe that it takes over a woman’s life.

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Dolly Parton and Anna Friel all have endometriosis. So does Booker Prize winning author Hilary Mantel and actors Susan Sarandon and Whoopi Goldberg. Marilyn Monroe is thought to have become addicted to the painkillers she took for endometriosis, which resulted in her death.

From a German New Medicine (GNM) perspective, endometriosis is the result of a ruptured ovarian cyst with a concurrent active kidney collecting tubule conflict.

While an ovarian cyst is a fully resolved biological conflict centering on one of two themes; a biological (not psychological) conflict of a profound loss considered to be permanent. An unexpected death, a miscarriage, an abortion.

A secondary albeit, much less common, conflict theme is also possible, one that involves an ugly or nasty scenario with a male persona that has implied sexual overtones. For example, ones best friend sleeps with her boyfriend, behind her back.

It should be noted that, despite the name – it is not the endometrium that is affected, it’s the ovarian tissue that has invaded the abdominal cavity.

During conflict activity an ulceration process within the interstitial ovarian tissue will take place. Only upon conflict resolution will the tissue replenish and a mass become evident.

A solid indurated cyst takes nine months to form provided there have been no relapses into conflict activity.

If the fluid filled ovarian cyst bursts prior to maturation, adhesions of ovarian tissue invade the abdominal cavity and attach to neighboring organs. These adhesions are diagnoses as endometriosis.

It is of note that the adhesions in the abdomen are capable of producing estrogen, the endometrium is not! The ovarian cyst produces estrogens and can keep a woman looking much younger than her years.

Fibroids or uterine myomas represent multiple conflict relapses involving the uterine musculature.

The biological conflict centers around wanting children, yet circumstances prevent one’s ability to bring forth a child. The purposeful meaning of the program is revealed during conflict activity where we see an increased tonus of the uterine musculature which facilitates the individuals ability to hold onto the fetus and bring it to full term.

A few practical examples.

A wife desires more children, yet her abusive husband causes her to give pause to bring any more children into the family as structured.

A woman yearns to start a family, yet the demands of her career trajectory makes it unfeasible.

A client from a few years back came to see me, trying to get to the bottom of her fibroid ‘prison’ as she called it. As soon as the conflict nature was presented to her she began to sob as she had made an immediate connection. This woman was gay and when she was fifteen was told by her devout southern baptist father that due to her sinful nature – neither God, nor society, nor he will allow her to ever have children. Just like Staples.® That was easy. ;’)

Thank you. So, myoma would reveal during the conflict phase! How would resolution phase present?

With the uterine musculature we are looking at functional changes. The active phase demonstrating increased muscle tone while the healing phase demonstrates the opposite. Over time, due to conflict relapses a myoma would be diagnosed.

I am curious on how to work consciously on healing away my fibroid. I have had it now for 3 to 4 years and it is going up and down in size between 6 and 9 cm in diameter.
I am aware of the psychological emotional issues that is behind the coming of the fibroid due to an abortion and a choice of not having children in this life, despite an underlying (at least) physical and in some parts emotional wish for a child.
So I am very interested in working with healing these issues but do not know how.

I do go into the emotions and discharge.

How would this approach tell me to do this work? I am myself a psychologist.

Hi Hannah, Please email me privately through the website. These are not simple conversations as I’m sure you know. A thorough history is needed.

Could you please kindly expand on 1) how the Endometritis keeps returning after surgical removal – is this as a result of more cysts rupturing? 2) how/why the cysts burst and 3) is there any indication from GNM point of view then how to actually heal/ resolve the Endometritis as it doesn’t look to be “from” a conflict itself? Is it more about resolving the conflict that has to do with the cysts themselves? Kindest, Nellie.

If a surgical procedure is performed before the tissue augmentation/replenishment cycle of the biological program has come to completion – the program will continue it’s expression and unfold to it’s natural conclusion on both the organ as well as cerebral levels. This is a timing issue. Another possibility has to do with tracks – triggers or subconscious reminders that can put us back into conflict active and or healing phase physiology. In the case of any fully resolved biological program, anytime that individual experiences a track – the cell augmentation, cell replenishment may recommence. With chronic relapse, when enough conflict mass (tissue) accumulates. New Conflicts. Finally, we can experience a brand new conflict in the same organ that may be misinterpreted as the return of the issue. The cyst can rupture due to the amplified swelling from the kidney collecting tubules. As the blog explains, endometriosis is an ovarian conflict. That is the biological conflict (along with the kidney collecting tubules) to resolve in order to heal.
