Heartburn. (GERD) Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. Ulcers

Heartburn. Yes, it burns. It also aches. It stings. It’s misery.

We’ve all experienced it after a spicy meal.

But what about heartburn that is not south-of-the-border cafe induced?

I recently counted three heartburn, acid reflux television commercials in an eighteen minute stretch with “Larry The Cable Guy” being front and center. I have had my own personal and unique heartburn history which I’ll touch upon in just a moment.

The small curvature of the stomach consists of two types of embryonic germ layers or “tissue.”

The recipients of the above blog masthead relate to the ectodermal layer.

In German New Medicine, the biological conflict is one of an anger within one’s territory. It should be noted that in left handed woman and even occasionally, if circumstance are just right, a left handed man it will be an identity conflict (who am I, where do I fit in) not anger.

During the conflict active phase of a territorial anger (grr!) or identity an increase in acidity will become evident. Heartburn, acid reflux and GERD are indications of an active anger/identity conflict.

Often times in German New Medicine, it is the healing phase that brings symptoms. With the stomach it is the healing phase that brings relief.

A common misconception is that stomach ulcers are related to Helicobacter pylori – this is inaccurate.

Rolaids, Tums, Prilosec, Zantac, Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda will all provide temporary relief but until the original conflict is acknowledged and understood within the context of ‘tracks’, the issue will return.

When looking for an ‘off’ switch to heartburn (or special biological program as Dr. Hamer prefers) – there are actually two ways to switch off the program.

The first way is to practically resolve the conflict that triggered said program to start running.

What Dr. Hamer discovered was that whilst the biological program associated with a territorial anger or identity may run in the subconscious mind, when you consciously connect the symptoms of the heartburn with the biological conflict that triggered it to start, it also flips the ‘off’ switch. So by understanding the exact moment in time when you experienced the territorial anger or identity dhs and consciously making all the connections – one can switch off the very heartburn, GERD et al.

The challenge with this ‘off’ switch, is if there are reminders of the original conflict which can switch the program back on again.

The work with any German New Medicine session is to properly address these reminders that can delay a complete clearing.

These are subconscious triggers that will reopen the original biological program. At the moment of the conflict-shock, the psyche is wide open and processing billions of bits of information.

What we need to understand is that at the time a person may have experienced a shock the psyche will actually record whatever stimuli were in the environment at that moment in time.

These stimuli need to be made conscious otherwise a vicious cycle ensues.

It’s sometime just a subtle feeling, a fleeting thought or nuance that releases the conflict.

I used to have horrible heartburn. I knew the conflict was a territorial anger – but had no change with just that awareness. It took me several months (Grrr!) but I finally found the feeling or fleeting thought. It was a territorial anger, yes – but there was a subtle nuance of despondency, hopelessness attached to it.

Since I figured that out, I’ve been fine. It still can ocassionally sneak in, but I nip it in the bud. GNM is in my opinion100% accurate and precise – it’s just these damn nuances! ;’)

A hiatal hernia is sometimes associated with acid reflux, yet is an expression of a very different biological conflict – one of self devaluation. The self devaluation oft centers on feeling as if there is something wrong with the stomach, with the pH balance – feeling less than adequate in that regard. As the individual experiences months and years of conflict activity and relapse, the striated musculature functionally weakens and the stomach gets pinched by the diaphragm. So, as you can see a hiatal hernia is a secondary conflict to the tummy distress.
