Varicose Veins.

Varicose Veins. Spider Veins. Phlebitis. Deep Vein Thrombosis.

During a recent consultation, the topic of varicose veins arose. Varicose veins are large, raised, swollen blood vessels that twist and turn. They usually develop in the legs and can be seen through the skin. In German New Medicine, the biological (not psychological) conflict is a lesser self-devaluation relative to freedom of movement, or lack thereof. Feeling as if you cannot shake off, get away, escape, break free or be released from someone or something. The classic ball & chain visual is a perfect metaphor. During conflict activity there will be tissue loss or necrosis in the lining of the veins (usually the legs.) There will be minimal visual signs and symptoms at this stage. It is only upon resolution of the conflict that we see the traditional engorged veins as the necroses refill and varicosities appear. This is where the intelligent purpose of the biological program is understood – to strengthen the veins. At the height of the resolution phase, known as the epileptic crisis – cramping may present, the origin of which is the smooth musculature within the vein. The longer the conflict remains unresolved or goes in and out of activity (relapses) the more demonstrative the veins will appear. At that juncture, phlebitis may be diagnosed. As with all conflict resolutions it is important to be aware of the Kidney Collecting Tubules (KCT.) When we have one conflict in a healing phase (veins) and an active KCT, we have what Dr. Hamer refers to as a syndrome with increased swelling, inflammation and pain. If the swelling is severe a deep vein thrombosis may be experienced.

Interesting to note in a patient, the appearance of spider veins and reappearances of mild vericosity all occuring in right leg only. Patient reports tenderness of thighs and calves during massage therapy only.
Standard Process’s Circuplex is applicable to the physical. Your ball-chain discussion is logical.

      Hello Forester,
Relationships and laterality are quite relevant with respect to varicose veins. For a right handed man or woman, a biological “ball & chain” conflict relating to partner (an important relationship other than mother/child) will express itself on the right side of the body. For a left handed man or woman, a biological “ball & chain” conflict relating to mother/child will express itself on the right side of the body. Standard Process and Mediherb make very high quality supplements. I use them daily.
